Carol, a Licensed Occupational Therapist, has specialized in
the treatment of lymphedema and burn care and is also a compression
garment specialist. She spent 13 years as a team member of the
University of North Carolina JayCee Burn Center prior to establishing
Lymflo Therapies, Inc. While at UNC she saw many patients with
lymphedema which sparked her interest in studying the treatment
of Combined Decongestive Therapy. She is a medical seamstress
who has been evaluating and fitting garments for patients more
than 17 years. “As a Certified Vodder Lymphedema Therapist,
my goal is to provide a quality treatment program for this greatly
under-served population of patients.” Carol was one of
the very first certified lymphedema therapists in the country
to have passed the national licensure examination through the
Lymphology Association of North America (LANA).

Felicite
Thompson (general office manager) and Susan Harper
represent our very capable office staff. Their responsibilities
for our business are numerous and their days are very busy.
They are very experienced in insurance billing and are very
happy to answer any questions regarding your insurance and the
coverage for lymphedema therapy. Felicite is a co-owner of “Color Me Pink”, a breast prosthetic
and boutique located right around the corner from Lymflo Therapies
Inc.
Danny
Woof, My Name is Danny. Carol adopted
me from Fidos For Freedom, an assistance
dog training organization in Maryland.
I was trained for two years to be
a dog to help people with disabilities,
but I had to leave the program because
sometimes I don’t like to be
around other dogs. I’m lucky
though because I love to be around
people and Carol brings me to work
every day! I help just a little around
the office (since I already know how!)
so please ask before you distract
me from my job! But, if I’m
not doing anything, I really want
to be petted by you! If I bark, I’m
just happy to see you. If you’re
allergic to me or you don’t
like dogs, I understand. Just tell
a Lymflo Therapies employee and we’ll
accommodate your needs. I’m
so happy to meet you!
